How verification works

Each transcript segment contains a SHA-256 hash computed from its content (speaker, text, timestamp) combined with the hash of the previous segment. This creates a tamper-evident chain: modifying any segment invalidates all subsequent hashes.

Chain integrity verifies that every segment's hash is correctly computed and linked to the previous segment. This check runs entirely in your browser and works offline.

Server match compares the chain's fingerprint (root hash, head hash, segment count) against the record stored on CallSee.me's servers. A match confirms that the transcript has not been altered since it was recorded.
